Eric Larson
CEO
Mr. Larson brings more than 20 years of experience working in the technology and automotive industries with public and private companies. Mr. Larson oversees Gumiyo's growth, financial activities and new market expansion.Prior to joining Gumiyo, he had been the president of 5square Systems. Mr. Larson was instrumental in helping setting the company strategy and direction and led all sales, support, product, marketing, and financial activities. Mr. Larson also led several rounds of venture financing and grew the company significantly during his tenure. In July 2008 5square was acquired by IMagicLab.
Prior to joining 5square.com, Mr. Larson served as Senior Vice President and CFO of Nomadix, Inc., a leading venture backed suppler to the Wi-Fi public internet access market. In that role, he provided leadership, vision and strategic direction for the company during periods of significant growth and change. Additionally, he was responsible for all general and administrative functions of the company, including finance, legal, investor relations, IT, human resources, tax, treasury, and business development. During his tenure, Mr. Larson was responsible for several rounds of venture and debt financing and for helping strike key OEM relationships. These accomplishments helped the company received numerous awards as one of the fastest growing companies in the LA area including a fourth place ranking on Deloitte & Touche's "Technology Fast 50". Mr. Larson also acted as a member of the company's Office of the President. Nomadix was acquired by MagiNet, the largest integrated technology solution provider to the hospitality industry in Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.
Before joining Nomadix, Mr. Larson spent nine years at Arthur Andersen L.L.P. where he served as Manager in its Enterprise Division. While at Arthur Andersen, Mr. Larson specialized in audit and business consulting services for high technology, automotive and manufacturing companies ranging in size from start-up to several billions in annual sales.
Mr. Larson holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma and is actively involved in several local business and civic organizations.
Shuki Lehavi
President and co-founder
Shuki Lehavi is an avid technologist with over a decade of successful experience in managing and developing enterprise applications in the banking, health care, automotive, and mobile industries. As President, Shuki oversees day-to-day operations and business development. As a co-founder, Shuki helps shape the vision and mission of Gumiyo and is committed to revolutionizing the mobile online marketplace.Prior to Gumiyo, Mr. Lehavi served as the Vice President of Software Development at 5Square Systems, a leading software development company based in Westlake Village, CA focused on applications for the automotive dealership industry. There he led the formation of the development group to deliver 5Square's flagship application. Prior to his role at 5Square, Shuki lead a large team at OAO Healthcare Solutions through the research and development of one of the most challenging enterprise applications in the healthcare market.
Mr. Lehavi holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Economics from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Rich Abronson
Vice President, Marketing and co-founder
Rich Abronson brings 12 years of integrated ecommerce interface design and online marketing expertise to Gumiyo. In 2002 Mr. Abronson was hired as the Online Design Director for Beachbody.com, the nation's most popular in-home fitness and weight loss solutions web marketer. Tasked with building the company's Web presence from scratch, he led a talented team of designers, production artists, and programmers to create a site that was generating several million dollars per year in revenue upon his departure at the end of 2006. Mr. Abronson was responsible for ensuring that Beachbody's strategic marketing and sales goals were reached and properly translated to the Web.Before that, he founded Both Sides Design, Inc. where he designed and developed several successful Web sites for small local businesses and startup ventures, including Beachbody.com. He was the first full-time employee of Santa Monica-based Internet Outfitters and became the company's Senior Designer and acting Art Director before the company was sold to Appnet Systems and subsequently taken public in a successful IPO.
While at Internet Outfitters, Rich Abronson led the design of corporate sites for Hyundai Motor America, Toshiba America, and Denso Sales California; entertainment sites for Pressman Films; and commerce/product sites for Hotz Interactive, Allergan and Mattel.
Rich graduated the University of Southern California in 1992 with a B.A. in Communications coupled with additional studies in architecture, art and painting.
Jef Rice
Vice President, Operations & Development
As VP, Operations & Development, Jef is responsible for the development, production and delivery of the Mobile Ready Platform, as well as the transformation of Gumiyo technology vision into a business solution.Bringing more than 15 years of expertise, Jef has led multiple companies through enterprise-scale product development cycles resulting in numerous industry awards such as a multi-time recipient of the IBM/Lotus Beacon award for Best Product.
Prior to joining Gumiyo, Jef led large development organizations responsible for developing products in diverse industries such as automotive, enterprise crm and application hosting for banking, healthcare and manufacturers.
Jef graduated from Rice University.
Jeannine Antus Koncar
Vice President, Sales
Jeannine is responsible for leading Gumiyo's sales efforts in the newspaper, media, and agency markets and working with partners in these disciplines to develop mobile solutions for their advertisers. As a natural extension of her role, Jeannine also drives efforts to train and empower partners' sales and marketing teams to effectively roll these mobile solutions throughout an organization.Coming most recently from Gannett’s Captivate Network as the Western Region Vice President, Ms. Koncar brings over 25 years of advertising sales as well as sales management, marketing and strategic planning experience. Ms. Koncar’s background also includes executive positions within MediaNews Group including the Los Angeles News Group and Denver Newspaper Agency. She was also Co-Director of Advertising at Madison Newspapers and was an active board member of the Newspaper Association of America.
